Thank you for joining the Tiger Tournaments Referee Team!
Our goal is to provide a professional, organized, and supportive environment where referees can develop while officiating some of the premier youth soccer tournaments in Texas.
Everything you need before your first tournament is outlined below.
STEP 1 — Complete Your Registration
Before you can receive assignments, please complete the following:
✅ Join the Tiger Tournaments Assignr Group.
✅ Submit your availability into jotforms for each event and set availability in Assignr.
✅ Complete your W-9
✅ Add your bank account to Assignr Pay
STEP 2 — Download Apps
Please install the following apps before your first event:

STEP 3 — Uniform & Equipment Requirements
All referees are expected to arrive in full professional uniform.

STEP 4 — Match Day Arrival
Arrival Time
Please arrive 30-45 minutes before your first scheduled match.
Some showcase, or special events may require arrival 60 minutes prior to kickoff.
Upon Arrival
Complete the following before every match:
Locate your assigned field
Meet your referee crew
Introduce yourself
Inspect field conditions
Inspect goals and nets
Check game balls
Obtain the game card
Conduct the player equipment inspection
Complete team check-in
Professional Expectations
Tiger Tournaments expects every referee to:
Be punctual
Maintain a professional appearance
Communicate respectfully
Hustle and stay engaged
Work as a team
Protect player safety
Apply the Laws of the Game consistently
Maintain a positive attitude
During the Match
Focus on:
game management
Crew communication
Player safety
Professionalism
Match control
Keeping the tournament on schedule
After Every Match
Before leaving your field:
✅ Verify the final score
✅ Complete any misconduct reports
✅ Obtain required signatures (if applicable)
✅ Return the game card
✅ Prepare for your next assignment
Spectator Management
If spectator issues arise:
Ask the coach to address the behavior.
If the behavior continues, stop play.
Contact Tournament Staff or the Complex Director.
Never argue with spectators.
Unable to Work?
If an emergency prevents you from working your assignment:
Immediately contact your Assignor.
Do not:
Trade games
Give away assignments
Fail to appear without notice
Early communication allows us to quickly replace your assignment and helps keep the tournament running smoothly.
Assignr Pay
Tiger Tournaments uses Assignr Pay for all referee payments.
Before payment can be processed, you must have:
✅ Completed your W-9
✅ Added your bank account
✅ Verified your payment information
