01 · GET ORGANIZED

Gather your documents.

• Your state or club roster: USYSA, US Club or USSSA.
• Player ID cards for your rostered players.
• Medical release forms to carry with you on match day.

Check your tournament registration for event-specific requirements and submission deadlines.

02 · BEFORE THE EVENT

Complete online check-in.

1. Open your team’s registration for the correct tournament in GotSport.
2. Upload the required roster and player ID cards.
3. Check that every participating player appears on the event roster, including eligible guest players.
4. Review any messages or document corrections from tournament staff before arriving.

Uploading documents does not by itself confirm approval. Follow the status and instructions in your event registration.

03 · KNOW YOUR ROSTER

Every player accounted for.

Players must be listed on the event roster to participate. Up to five guest players from outside the club are permitted when their paperwork is submitted before the tournament.

A player appearing on two teams must be age-appropriate, from the same club, in different age groups and listed on both rosters. Players cannot move between Gold, Silver or Bronze in the same age group.

04 · AT THE FIELD

Check in before every match.

Players check in on their scheduled field before each game. Keep medical release forms with the coach or manager throughout the event, and have player cards available.

• Confirm the field and kickoff time on your event schedule.
• Wear matching uniforms with unique back numbers and shin guards.
• Home team: white or light jerseys and the game ball. Away team: dark jerseys.
• Spectators sit across the field from their team.
