The key rules for our U6–U8 boys’ and girls’ games.
- Players
- Four field players per team. No goalkeepers.
- Match length
- Two 20-minute halves with a five-minute halftime.
- Offside
- Offside is not enforced.
- Kick-ins
- Use kick-ins instead of throw-ins. All kick-ins are indirect. A kick-in directly into the opponent’s goal results in a goal kick; directly into your own goal results in a corner kick.
- Goal kicks
- Goal kicks may be taken from anywhere inside the goal box.
- Goal box
- No player may touch the ball while it is inside the goal box. The goal-box line counts as part of the box.
- Build-out line
- There is no build-out line in 4v4.
